The biggest engineering challenge of this set involved its necessity to tour. The large shingled roof that covered most of the scenery had to be constructed so that it was lightweight and easily assembled, while still be durable and attractive. In addition, the multiple scenic treatments, including an intricately routed floor pattern, made this jewel-box set a unique challenge.
