The last show in CPIP’s Marx Theater holds a significant spot in my affection. The designer was tasked with creating a space that felt open, warm, and authentically rooted in the very real place of an all-girls Presbyterian School in Ghana. We closely replicated the patterned concrete block, louvered ceiling vents, and exterior security wall. Simple, yet visually dramatic.
