The designer wanted this set, a basement apartment in Dublin, to resemble a "wet, molded, cardboard box." Our challenge was to create a structure that was organically shaped while maintaining structural and functional integrity. We created large-scale cardboard to dress walls, multi-faceted floor and wall frames, using a mixture of standard and unorthodox building techniques.
